About Atomicraft
Atomicraft Digital Media was formed in 2008 as a collaborative venture amongst several freelancers that had shared ideas, work environs or friendships throughout the past 15 years in journalism and internet media. Atomicraft evolved to become a web destination where entrepreneurs, blossoming business owners, and everyday clients could come to do one-stop shopping for their digital needs.
Atomicraft was created by Chris, a graphic designer, flash multimedia producer, web developer and freelance photographer with a degree in Journalism and Visual Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Chris has worked for The Washington Post, The Boston Globe, and the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and has won numerous awards and accolades from the Society of News Design and independent photo contests. Chris currently works for Swarm Interactive, producing patient education animations, as well as custom interactive development for clients such as National Geographic and The Discovery Channel. Chris also serves as adjunct professor for Multimedia Design and Information Graphics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Cherilyn joined Atomicraft in 2010, becoming webmaster of several sites and building principle WordPress architecture. Her success as a professional ballerina and architectural project manager has provided her with a keen insight toward artistic and creative expression, as well as finely honed organizational skills.
