Discovery Science Series

These flash interactives were developed with Swarm Interactive for The Discovery Channel. Discovery wanted an ongoing series for discovery.com that could present the major cornerstones of science in an entertaining and engaging way. They also needed these interactives to appeal to as broad a demographic as possible – simple and entertaining for kids, but also elegant and educational for an older audience. The first interactive sought to educate viewers on Newton’s Three Laws, as told from the comical perspective of the worm inside Newton’s apple. The second in the series introduced Darwin’s theory of natural selection, and gave viewers a very hands-on experience with the evolution game “Who Wants to Live a Million Years?”
