AIDS Orphans

Each year, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel sends a reporting and photography team to the Caribbean to investigate the growing AIDS epidemic there. For this particular year’s coverage, the focus was on those affected by the actions and afflictions of others – the orphans left behind. Lead developer Chris Kirkman worked with the Sun-Sentinel for over four months to design and produce the online project, rolled out over four weeks in conjunction with the print edition.
